The Ultrashort throw projector projects a picture from the bottom. This is because the Ultra-short throw ambient light rejecting screen material use a special optical serrated structure and a light suppression fitter. The picture projected by the projector projects directly onto the special light plate .

The goal of an ALR surface is to respond well to light from orthogonal or perpendicular sources ? like the light from a projector ? and to limit the re-reflection of light coming from off-axis sources such as lighting and windows.
