New Old Stock Hatchet Handles : Sold Individually With 20-30% Volume PricingAll of these handle are from a hardware store that closed long ago. The are a made of an unknown wood that is very hard. Most of them have stains from shelf wear or from the aging of the wood itself. Some have other flaws such as chipping / splitting / stains or other sight manufacturing defects. If the handle has a "S" with a circle around it, the head is slotted. Most of them are unfinished, but if it is mentioned in the codes/stock numbers below that they are finished, they are. The length is mentioned in each selection and if there is something unique about the handle such as a slotted head. Please use the selector bar and then click on the photo, then click right. If the handle has a particular flaw that stands out, it has a red pointer next to it. PLEASE READ BELOW IN LISTING BODY FOR MORE INFORMATION ON CONDITION AND MODEL DESCRIPTION.
I have sold many lots of these handles and have had only happy buyers. Please contact me if you have an issue before starting a return or leaving back feedback. Thank You. READ BELOW >>>:

Some Answers to Your Questions And Things To Look Out For:
The 3 photos following the heading photo are an

of the head shapes from the top view. Most of them are close to those measurements, but with variations in manufacturing, they may be slightly smaller or larger. One handle was pulled from each style to take the photos and it does not represent the one that you will get, unlike the selection photos which will be the exact handle that you will receive.
The only way I could offer these discounts is with my main store, so please contact me first before starting a return or leaving bad feedback. We always do what is fair for our buyers.
Where are all the 16" & 13" hatchet handles? Keep scrolling down the selection box. The box only opens up to a certain amount - many are not seen in the first area.
Are they Hickory? I don't know for sure, so I cannot list them as such. They are a very hard wood. You would not want to get a shampoo with one.
Why are they listed "Open Box"? That is the only option in this category. None of them had boxes.
With the exception of the first 7 hatchet handles, most of them are unfinished. They all need sanding and some type of finish if that is how you roll. All of them are straight. Much of the staining is from the wood itself and I see no reason that these got wet because they were all in the same bin and many are not stained. (That's my best answer to that question.)
I tried to always take photos of the less good looking side of the handle first and labeled them on that side. Please pick the handle that you are interested in in the selector bar and see that first photo. You can use the zoom feature in the small box or click on the photo to expand the photo. Please click right to see all photos. I put spacers between them and a red pointer(s) if the handle has a significant chip or missing wood.
I took photos of each so that you can see the character in the wood and the shape of each. This should provide hours of viewing pleasure. If you need more photos, please let me know. I have them well organized in a rack.
Some of them are slotted heads and some are solid heads. If you see a "S" with a circle around it, the head is slotted.
